Consultations

On receipt of a referral from your GP or specialist we will endeavour to provide an appointment at a mutually convenient time with one of our Gastroenterologists. Waiting times range from 1-2 weeks depending on urgency, which is assessed from the referral; letter we receive and the availability of a particular gastroenterologist. Before coming to our clinic, you may be asked to undergo tests such as blood tests or stool tests. Consultations last 30-60 minutes.

Gastroscopy

This procedure allows the doctor to examine the lining of your oesophagus, stomach and the first part of your small intestine (duodenum) and to take samples.
